Geocache Description:

The fearsome "Skull Cave," lies deep in the heart of Bengalla jungle. It was carved out of a single mountain (boulder??) by the first Phantom, and have since been the home for 21 generations of "The Man Who Cannot Die". We have one similar “cave” in Norway too, located in Ålesund!

The cache contains FTF-certificate and some trade items. To find the exact position you will have to de-chiffer the code of the Phantom. It is the code used between the Jungle Patrol and the Phantom. I solved it years ago when I was reading the monthly magazine of "Fantomet". If you became a member of the Phantom Order (Fantometklubben) you got this code. In every magazine it was a members part, where mostly all were written in this code. It is only two letters I have not found yet, they are not frequently used in the Norwegian language: "Q" and "W". The wording I have used in the code is English. Where it should be a "W" I used "VV". Similar solution was done for the letter "Q". I can add two small things to the list: Colon ":" and stop "." also exclamation mark "!" is not a part of the code. After they ruined the Phantom with colour in the 1980's I lost interest for this comicseries... Of course for those of you that already has the code it would be quite easy to find the final position. A flashlight is recommended for this cache. It can also be usefull if you would explore the quite big fortress/stronghold from Second World War. The cave has dirt floor, the entrance is quite good. Most likely you wil get in and out with out getting dirty, except when the floor is wet after rain. Use clothes you are not affraid of getting dirty anyway. This cache has been mved and the log text been modified to the new position. The code is not yet prepared but use this formulae to find it: Old latitude: N XXX° YY.ZZZ' subtract 14 from ZZZ' Old logitude: E XXX° YY.ZZZ' subtract 41 from ZZZ' New updated code and a new "re-position" certificate will be avaiable soon!
