Geocache Description:


Northampton Borough Municipal Authority had built this dam and the site is where the old water treatment facility used to be. Around 2000 they had built a new facility just down the road. This area has since been opened up to the public and for the D&L rail trail near by that runs though the land. There is a fenced in area around the man made lake that you are not allowed in so please don't go inside there looking for the cache cause its not there. There is only a few parking spots to park in but don't block any of the gates. and there is no need to onto the dam. The cache is not on the dam or the old grounds of the water authority. the cache is across the street hidden well.

The cache container is something man made being held by something real, unlike the dam that is man made and holding something real when you find it you will understand. this will be a cache and dash for some and others may have a problem.
