Aspenden Amble 2 Traditional Cache
JohnLinda: The cache has now been muggled twice, so no point in replacing it again. We are seeking a new place close by to hide a new cache and will revive AA2 with new co-ordinates and description in due course.

A traditional cache a short walk from the village of Aspenden; you get a lovely view of St. Mary’s Church from close to the cache location (see photo). Why not look for Aspenden Amble 1 and Aspenden Amble 3 at the same time? All are in fairly close proximity and can be covered in around a mile of each other.
The cache is a 35mm film cassette. There is limited parking on Aspenden Green (about .5 of a mile from cache). You can also park on the road much closer to the cache location, just be a bit careful as the road is quite narrow through the village. The cache is on a footpath leading off a marked bridleway leading up from the road - please make sure you do not leave the road until you reach the bridleway (which is almost directly opposite a marked footpath going in the opposite direction) otherwise your gps will tempt you to explore people's gardens along the way! There is a gentle rise up from the road and the bridleway and footpath can be a little damp and muddy in wet weather but normally nothing too bad. Please ensure the container is pushed fully back into it's hiding place and the covering material securely replaced. Thank you.
