Paired with Chaloem Sawan 58 Bridge, the bridge was named to celebrate King Rama 6ths 31st birthday during the first year of his reign. It seems that half of the bridge gets taken over by the flower market and it is typical to see vendors and suppliers parked and ding business.
Take note of the delivery system. Pickups park near the cache and the produce are delivered the last distance by men with hand carts. Vegetables, flowers and other produce all goes this way. Some is delivered by boat to the piers on the riverside of the market.
