Geocache Description:

This is my first ever cache hide! I placed this cache to bring people to the site where the Battle of Salado Creek occurred in 1842. More information about the battle can be found here {CLICK HERE} which references several good Texas history websites. The cache is located less than 50 feet from the monument and just off the Salado Creek Greenway, so Hike & Bike! Please enjoy learning a little bit about the history of San Antonio and find a cache at the same time!
