Lots of caching fun will be had by all on June 18th from 12-6pm. The day's activities will begin at 12:00 at Diamond Lake Resort's Lodge. We will have a caching competition as well as a drawing for prizes that will include a fishing trip!
Come spend the day doing some of the things that all geocachers love doing...
Taking in the beautiful scenery, meeting new faces and catching up with some caching buddies, but most importantly, LOGGING THOSE SMILIES!
I just found out that sign-ups for the challenge will start at 10am and Hot Dogs will be available 11-5. Awards at 430pm
For lodging and dining info at Diamond Lake Resort see (visit link)
There are over 450 camping sites at the three Umpqua National Forest campgrounds in the Diamond Lake Recreation Area. Diamond Lake, Broken Arrow, and Thielsen View campgrounds are very well maintained with paved roads and trailer pads. Only 174 of these sites are reserved through the National Recreation Reservation service at 877-444-6777 or www.recreation.gov The rest of the 226 campsites are first come, first served
