Geocache Description:

There is an artificial hill in this park. You can see a nice view from the top of the hill.
Please bring a pen.
Some people report that the log sheet is lost. But it is still there. Please go into the cache.

The cache is placed on the hillside of "Yamada no Fuji". "Yamada no Fuji" is an an artificial hill in the shape of Mt.Fuji. In the Edo Period, a faith to Mt.Fuji, which is called as "Fuji Kou", was popular among ordinary people. This artificial mountain is being fond of by people as a center of the faith and the symbol of this area even after the loss of the "Fuji Kou".

キャッシュは「山田の富士」の中腹にあります。 「山田の富士」は、富士山を模した人工の山です。江戸時代、富士山を信仰する「富士講」が盛んでした。この人工の山は、その信仰の拠点として、また富士講が廃れた後も地域のシンボルとして人々に親しまれてきました。
