While driving my the kids to school one morning, I saw a trailhead at the back of the parking lot of a local eating establishment. My curiosity got the best of me and I just had to explore. The place was actually bigger than I thought it would be. Trails, a creek, a little swampy area... This place was just begging for a cache. Brandon wanted to hide a large. So with two weeks of preparing, we hid our first large sized cache.
From what I could tell so far, the area is used for mountain biking, quad riding and hunting. Please, be careful during the hunting seasons. You may spot some deer, turkey or snakes while hiking. There are also areas where some of the locals hang out and throw their trash around, so practice CITO when you can.
The area is also large enough for some more caches. I didn't want to take all the fun. Come on creative cachers.
The cache is a well camoed 5 gallon bucket, well stocked with goodies. Please replace as found or better and remember to put the lid on tight. The cache name came from the feeling that I was being watched as I was hiding the cache. Wear gloves and good luck.
