You've heard of MEGA-EVENTS? This is quite the opposite in a variety of ways.
A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse.

WWFM VIII (World Wide Flash Mob #8 Event)

*Dozens of events all around the world
*Thousands of geocachers participating
*Coordinated to happen at the same time all around the world
*These events will last EXACTLY 15 minutes, not one second longer.

Tell your friends and help promote the event!

There may be several muggles nearby who will wonder "What did I just see? What just happened?" That's part of the fun!

This Louisville edition of the WWFM is being presented by the Louisville Flash Mob Society (LFMS) and will take place at the flag pole in front of the Louisville Zoo. There is ample free parking and you can enjoy the zoo before and/or after the flash mob if you'd like. The related web page link above gives you all the information you could want to know about the zoo.

The Plan
Before 12:00: Mill around inconspicuously in the area but not at GZ. Each participant should wear red, white, and blue in keeping with the patriotic theme of this event.
12:00: An ammo can will be set on the ground at GZ. At that very moment, the flashing, I mean caching, will begin.
12:01: Grab a log, a kaZOO, and a "meal" (hope you're not too hungry!). Please bring your own pen.
12:02: Swap geo stories and trackables if you have them
12:07: Put log sheets in the ammo can
12:08: Drawing for a beautiful prize
12:10: Group photo
12:13: Playing of the National Anthem with kaZOOs (a kaZOO at the ZOO!!!)
12:15: Leave the area like nothing happened
