Geocache Description:

Nice easy riverside walk on the outskirts of Haddington.

From the path you can look across to the ruins of the Summer House which was in the grounds of Amisfield House, designed by Isaac Ware and built in 1754/5. It was originally surrounded by statues, but they were washed away by flood waters in 1775.

There is an information board with more detail about the park at N55. 57.679 W002.45.225.

Look out for the resident duck family, and the heron.

It is easy walking until the last short distance which may be muddy, and not accessible by wheelchair.

The co-ordinates may not be totally accurate because of cover, but the hint should make it clear.
