Geocache Description:

On the high ridge to the W of the village of Crosby Ravensworth.  Stunning views on a clear day of the Lakes and Pennines.

This cache takes you up onto Iron Hill, great views, a small stone circle and beautiful open moor. The ancient stone circle is formed of granite boulders on the top of this limestone hill.

There are several routes onto the moor at High Haber, follow lanes or grassy tracks.  Unfortunately, the very summit is decorated with a power line, but the views are great.  You may be able to spot the blue lagoon!

In the spring please keep dogs close by so as not to disturb sky-larks and other nesting birds who are up here.
