The Frito Bandito: The new owners have cleaned up the back and it’s time to say goodbye to this one. It's hard to believe that it was first hidden over 10 years ago when I was a brand new cacher. Many of my friends over the years have signed the log. I wish us all well, and thanks for the visits here.
This was our go to place for years for repairs to our fleet of used cars, but I stopped in to schedule some work, and the owner and the desk guy were both gone and there were new faces behind the counter. The new faces were the new owner's people, but when I asked what had happened, they simply made up some stories: one was staying with his sick mother for a while and the other was on vacation. One of the mechanics told me that they sold out. So I quit going there - I figured out that if they couldn't tell the truth about the new owners, they might be inclined to bend the facts when my turbo-encabulator started making funny noises.
They seem to have stayed in business, but I have never been back (except to check the cache)
