There are two hill forts to be found on Moncreiffe hill, the smaller named after the hill sits ab ove the crags with a trig point on its summit, and the other is Moredun Top Fort, its grassy mound clearly visible from the Tay Car Park.
The hill is well worth visiting at different times of the year, so you can see the constantly changing colours of the plantlife If you are lucky you will spot a buzzard circling, or a red squirrel busy feeding.
