Dear FailedApparatus,
I just started my new job and got stuck on the late shift. The work is okay but this shift has some real characters on it. I now work with Ollie North and Adam West so you can imagine the shenanigans that take place here. Adam likes to sing show tunes while he works and Ollie is always pulling pranks on him because of it.
One day, Adam was skipping through the plant belting a tune from Hello Dolly! at the top of his lungs and Ollie snuck up behind him with the forklift and hoisted him up in the air by his trousers! We laughed and laughed but I know Ollie can be a real &%$! at times. Adam got him back though. He hid the key board that holds all the keys to the forklifts so Ollie had to unload all the trucks that shift by hand. That was backbreaking work, I’m sure!
The boss seems oblivious to what goes on here in the plant. Our shift, in particular, seems to fly under the radar with all the goofing off that takes place here. Right or wrong, it is a fun shift to work on. I can’t wait to see how Ollie retaliates. I expect Adam to have the $#^*! scared out of him! It is going to be a hoot!
