A chance to meet up and do some local caches and to
discover the Cuckoo Cache one of the two traveling caches in the
UK. These caches are not available any more but still exist under
the grandfathered rules. After the event the cuckoo will fly to
another cache to be moved on somewhere in the North of
England.
The venue is the Mertle Taven, from 7.30pm.
There are usually 3 hand pulled ales on plus the usual
lagers.
Food is not on unless enough people say they want it and the
landlord will sort something. Please state in your logs if you want
to eat and we will arrange it.
There may me a quiz etc. as well on the night with a prize or
two.
As to the cuckoo, I've dropped it off in the listing if you want to
check it out.
As an aside I have permission from both the cache/bug owner and the
reviewer to run this event with the Cuckoo present.
