Geocache Description:

Small camouflaged lock-n-lock with small trades, as well as an FTF pin for the first to find.

According to the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority, the Tay River watershed is the most magnificent tributary in the entire Rideau Valley.

The Tay provides drinking water to the town of Perth, serves local industries, and offers recreational swimming, canoeing, and fishing. It flows through the provincially significant Tay Marsh and connects with the Rideau Canal World Heritage Site. In July, thousands of people enjoy the Tay as it flows through Perth at the Stewart Park Festival.

The cache site is a pleasant spot to stop and greet the Tay. Note, in summer there may be muggles fishing here, and please don’t park in the private driveway. Happy caching!

*** Congratulations to MS MUFFET for FTF, and to GeoMangoes for 2TF! ***
