This cache is located along the Yellow (Mine) Trail just off of Westbrook Road near the intersection of Roaring Brook Way. There is a parking pull-off nearby, and parking should be allowed on Roaring Brook Way. The cache is within about 100' of the trailhead, about 3-5 feet off the trail (not on the brook side) - look for the "Smiley" blaze and you are close!
We found the cache "container" while looking for another cache today, and thought the name would be fitting for this cache. It is not a conventional container and holds only a log, so please bring your own pen/pencil to sign-in.
This yellow trail leads to Camp Wyanokie on West Milford's Snakeden Road and provides a nice scenic hike along a pleasant little brook. Also known by some as the "Egg Trail" (you'll know why when you see the blazes), it makes for a good point-to-point hike if you have two vehicles.
