Pleasant walk in the Hemi Matenga Scenic Reserve
Not too far from start of the walkway.
Park in Tui Crescent and walk up driveway to walk start. (chain across driveway seems to be locked at most times)
This cache is on the common part of the walkway that leads to:
-Parata Track Lookout (1-2hours return)
-Kohekohe Walk an easy 30 minute loop walk to Kakariki Grove and back along local streets
-Te Au Route a 3-4 hour tramp to Huia Street
Walk is mainly uphill to this cache, but good wide well formed track.
Cache is a 150ml plastic container with logsheet inside a pill bottle.
Please bring pen / pencil - found logs not matching logsheet will be removed
Please ensure cache is well covered.
With all the tree cover GPS coverage is fairly poor but hints will get you there.
Muggles can appear from either direction without much notice - please take care as cache has been taken three times.
