Summary: The
Basic Idea
This event is part of the WWFM VIII - World Wide Flash Mob
coordinated events (see growing bookmark list)
Thousands of geocachers at dozens of events all around the globe,
gathering at the same time to share in the "Geocaching
Goodness".
Join
us near
the train station (the big logging wheel) for a fast, fun
event, featuring YOU as a group of beach bums.
Stick around afterwards to enjoy the area or join a group to
go geocaching nearby!
The
Plan
The event
will begin precisely at 10:00am on Saturday,
June 4.
An Orange Bucket placed on ground zero will signal the start of the
event!!!
The event
will be facilitated by volunteers. If you'd like to be a WWFM
volunteer, please contact us (flag.mtn.hkrs@gmail.com) and
let us know.
Prior to the start time, mosey and wander about non-challantly ...
Then when the bucket is set down ... converge on the Ground
Zero! There are many free parking
lots across Route 66 to park at or at the near by train
station. Be careful of parking south of the train tracks as you may
miss the event.
YOU WILL NEED
A PEN or PENCIL to sign a log sheet. There will be an event
"meal", group photo, and raffle for very cool prizes.
Please come dressed
in your best beach bum attire. Hawaiian shirts, flip flops, how
ever you dress when you enjoy the surf and sun.
Zinc Oxide will be
provided while supplies last to slather our noses and be true beach
bums.
ADD this event to your
watchlist for more information (including exciting news about a
WWFM VIII souvenir)!
