This is a series of 3 caches to get a little workout and catch a cache along the way.
From Take A Hike # 2, go back to the trail and continue another 350 feet (39 08.676 N 119 43.803 W), and take the trail that goes west (right). After about 100' you need to make a decision. Continue on the trail and climb to the top - or go directly cross country to Take A Hike # 3. You can always do the top on another hike, so if you go direct to # 3, you will run into the trail that comes down from the top that will take you to the cache. After you snag # 3, continue down the trail and it will take you back to the "T" at: 39 08.896 N 119 43.940 W. From there it's all downhill to your vehicle. Round trip is just under 4 miles and elevation gain if you go all the way to the top is close to 875 feet.
