Blue Crow Expedition: I went to check on this cache today. I found the zip tie that connected it to the tree. It was clear that someone had forcibly pulled the container loose. I couldn't see it anywhere around.
The banks of the river are different since Estabrook Dam was removed earlier this year. The area around this cache is marshy now. Plus the dead parts of the tree feel more soft. I am a confident climber but the tree feels less safe than it used to.
I think it's time to archive this one.
