Another C.A.B.L.E. cache
This one is believed to be one of the mess halls
S.O.S
I believe that I have deciphered another symbol on the layout map of Camp Adair. It appears that these foundations are the remains of the mess halls.
I believe that these concrete floored areas were where the kitchens were placed. The floors would have been fireproof. If you check out the company areas, they are quite similar. Three barracks, then two mess halls, then three more barracks. I still remember having to clean the grease traps on K.P. one day at Fort Ord, California.
As for the name of this cache – if you served in the military, you already know it. If you didn’t then think of “Stuff On a Shingle”
