Easy park and grab
Jewell state lake is 57 acres with a max. depth of 22 feet and has very good water clarity. Jewell has recently been completely renovated with the addition of fishing piers, a boat ramp and fish feeders. The lake has been restocked with panfish, catfish, bass, crappie and walleye/saugeye. A small amount of camp sites are available around the lake with fire rings and picnic tables. Pit toilets are available on each side of the lake also. Around the lake are 108 acres of grassland with patches of trees and brush to provide habitat for wildlife such as deer, turkeys, pheasants, quail, rabbits, squirrels, as well as various song birds and ducks on the lake itself. Public hunting is allowed here so if you wish to cache here during the the hunting seasons please be careful. This place really is a little "jewel" and I decided to add a few jewels of my own. ENJOY
