Ok folks it is time for some Spring cleaning. The short and
sweet
description is a CITO event on the North Rim of the great
Snake
River in an area most of use a lot. The date is Saturday, May
21st
at 8 A.M. sharp. Read further for more details!
We are planning this CITO to coincide with the cleanup effort in
this area held annually by the local Bureau of Land Management, the
Southern Idaho Off Road Association. Their efforts have proven to
be very successful in cleaning up this area but they could always
use a little help. If you have cached in the desert here or even
passed by on the Interstate, you know how much trash can accumulate
out here. This is the perfect chance to get the area in better
shape and also maybe find a new spot to hide one of your own
caches! So please join us for a few hours of clean up.The
information we have right now is as follows and can change at any
time. Please check back for any updates that we post. Saturday, May
21st from 8 A.M. to 3 P.M. There should be a safety briefing. In
years past, gloves and bags were provided but make sure you bring
your own just in case. As a precaution we suggest bringing long
pants, heavy gloves, sun screen, water and any tools you may think
would be useful. Maybe shovels, wheel barrows, an ATV with a
trailer, a crane??? If you have an off road vehicle, that may be
useful as well for traveling on the dirt roads. Please email us
