Geocache Description:

To me, one of the best things about caching is the opportunity to discover places you never knew were even there. That's exactly the appeal of this spot. When I first caught sight of this area on one of my first visits to Blue Ridge Center, I must say the immediate thought that went through my head was, "Wow!"

Gordon Pond is a beautiful and quiet location that can accessed via the Legacy Loop. From the main parking area, you'll start on the Farmstead Loop, connect to the Little Turtle Trail and then hike along Arnold Lane. Please note that until Blue Ridge Center gets two bridges repaired that were were damaged in a recent storm, you will need to be prepared to get your feet wet on the hike towards this one. There are two shallow stream crossings to be navigated.

This cache is placed within Blue Ridge Center lands, which is a privately owned and funded park. Please take the time to enjoy finding these caches but also respecting the land which they allow us to explore.
