Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates, they are for parking only.

In Episode One, we last saw Sherrie hurrying through the forest, in hot pursuit of rumoured notes left by Birdin' about the location of a Great Auk sighting, or so she thought. When we left her, she was sure she was not alone out there....

Indeed, Sherrie was right. She was not alone out there, nor even the first one to reach the rumored hiding spot. Though she had followed the low road, a stick hit her on her perky head as she neared her destination. Looking up to see the source of that stick, a small boy was poised to chuck another stick, when a man presumed to be his father said..

"Jermyn! No more sticks! Getting your first FTF is reward enough!"

Turned out that these two were the advance guard, seeking to be first to arrive at some mysterious thing they kept calling a "geocache." O-kay. Whatever....

After she left them, she still heard another sound that had to have been human.

Or was it?

Looking behind her path, someone...or someTHING...was approaching. As she watched, she recognized it to be the irrepressible Robirda Tweet. What a clown! So, okay, she had binoculars the size of a Swarovski scope, but look at that veneer of makeup. Really! No taste AT all!

Greeting one another, Robirda inquired as to Sherrie's presence here so far from Ohio, and upon hearing Sherrie's story, she said...

"I think you have some really BAD information there, my friend. I mean, seriously, Great Auks? C'mon! An Ivory Billed Woodpecker I might buy, but Great Auks?"

Sherrie was about to take leave of this crazy woman. So what if she was an expert juggler? Of what use is that, anyway? Just as she was ready to brush her off, Robirda leaned in with a conspiratorial tone...

"I have the REAL deal right here. Birdin' was careless and left this coded message about where to get the dirt on finding a Grey Hawk in this area. WAY out of its range!"

Would Sherrie join forces with Robirda to help find this secret sighting? Would Robirda run ahead of her, in spite of lousy legwear for hiking and oversized binoculars? Would jonnytarr and littletarr beat them both to this treasure?

Find out what's in Robirda's secret message and see for yourself, or you can join us next time for the thrilling conclusion of "Rare Birds!"......Till then.....
