Todocco
Todocco mit rund 50 Einwohner gehört zu Gemeinde Pezzolo Valle
Uzzone und liegt auf 760 Meter über Meer. Die erste Kapelle wurde
1679 gebaut, die heutige Wallfartskirche „Santuario della
Madonna“ entstand um 1936 und ist wegen der perfekten
Akustik, und der guten Beleuchtung für Konzerte beliebt. Auf den
Gipfel (ca. 800 MüM) führt die "Via Crucis" durch ein Wäldchen mit
vielen Raststellen. Bemerkenswert ist die reine Luft, die fast
immer vom Meer her kommt und der herrliche Ausblick in die Alpen
mit Monte Rosa, Mont Blanc, Monte Viso bis hin zum Ligurischen
Apennin mit dem Monte Antola.

Sorge a metri 760 s.l.m. con ampia veduta sull’alta Langa.
Nel 1679 è ricordata la “cappella del Bricco”, presso
cui avvenivano prodigiose grazie. Nel Settecento, la cappella fu
ampliata, fu animata dalla presenza di un cappellano. Nel 1936
venne realizzata l’attuale chiesa. Dal 1979 vi è un centro di
spiritualità animato dal GAM (Gioventù Ardente Mariana). Presso il
Santuario vi è la comunità delle “Figlie della Madre di
Gesù”.

above sea level) takes the "Via Crucis" through a wood with many
rest stops. Note the clean air, almost always comes from the sea
and the magnificent view of the Alps, Monte Rosa, Mont Blanc, Monte
Viso to the Ligurian Apennines, with Monte Antola.
