A Good Old Fashioned Geocache (NOT a nano!) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

knowschad: The ammo can was sitting out on the ground, in plain sight of anybody just casually walking through, and that all of the original hiding spot has either rotted away or been dragged over to make the apparent homeless camp.

Anyway... there is no way to hide a cache there any more, so I had to pack it out.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A simple cache in a cool spot in Friendly Marsh in Mendota Heights.

Nothing fancy here... just a good old fashioned .50 cal ammo can hide just like they did it in the old days. Bring some swag to trade... got plenty of room for travel bugs, too.

Best parking is in the cul de sac at the end of S. Plaza Dr. (behind the strip mall). Take the paved bike trail.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, copy/paste boilerplate, and emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
