Geocache Description:

You will find only the trailhead parking at the listed coordinates! To find the cache you will need to solve the puzzle by finding the answers to the questions in the following video. (Edit to add new link, as the previous one doesn't work any longer. You will need to copy and paste.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJL4Y3aGPuA

A ventriloquist's dummy which has been magically transformed into a human being, then launched into a solo career singing in the style of the only human being he has ever known? Dracula's optimistic light-hearted cousin? Nope. This is none other than Edward Khil, in all his 70's charm and grandeur! This bizarre, yet oddly enchanting video holds the answers to the questions you will need to solve to find the cache.

43.36.ABC 070.12.DEF

A = 3 + the channel # = A

B = Edward sings in front of a lavish grill work of which he is quite fond. How many crescents are bent out of shape? This # = B.

C = At one point in the song, Edward gets quite enthusiastic about the grill work, spinning around and hitting notes that would be the envy of a yodeling John Denver. He is then quick to admonish us, his audience, not to get too carried away by the glory of it all. How many admonishing La la's does he give to us? Take this number and subtract 4. This # = C.

D = Sometimes a 4 digit number appears on the screen. Add these 4 digits together, then subtract 14. (_+_+_+_) - 14 = D

E = At one point, Edward finds something highly amusing and laughs. In an effort to add visual interest, the editors break this event into a series of screen shots. How many separate shots are there of Edward laughing (including the first laugh)? Take this # and subtract 1. This # is E.

F= How many buttons are on Edward's jacket? (Not including cufflinks.) Take this number and add 4. This # is F.

This puzzle should be easier than our other similar and yet different "Haunted by Badgers" GC1HX6W cache. Both are earworms, but Edward moves slower than those rascally badgers! ;)

This cache is located in Robinson’s Woods. Evidently, the land was considered too rocky for farming, and so was never developed. Consequently, the land is home to old growth forest, holding trees estimated at 300 years old. Wildlife is abundant. The woods are home to porcupines, raccoons, skunks, possums, red fox, coyotes, red and grey squirrels and many birds, including owls. You may want to check out our other two caches in this park. “Salamander” GCX8B8 and “Within the lair” GCX8AV

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

Please mind your step while searching in the spring time, as Lady's Slippers grow in the vicinity of the cache.
