Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT hidden at the starting coordinates, which take you to the clubhouse. This is a field-puzzle cache, meaning that you can solve the puzzle for the final coordinates when you arrive at the starting coordinates (when open during the golfing season). If finding the cache during the off season for golf, or at any time for that matter, you can solve the puzzle by clicking on the related web page link listed above and referencing the score card.

Many people have asked us about the meaning behind our caching name. The name refers to our hobby of being "hacks" at golf. Hansen Golf is the closest course to our home and we've played here many times. It's called an "executive course," meaning that it is not a full sized course and measures only about half the distance of a full sized course. It should also be noted that according to UrbanDictionary.com, one definition for Hack is: "noun, a cool nickname." :-) The cache is not located on the golf course. The final coordinates are at North AB CD.EFG West HI JK.MN A = par on hole 8 B = birdie on hole 8 C = number of 5 par holes on course D = par on hole 6 E = par on hole 12 F = 2 over par (double bogey) on hole 8 G = number of holes if only playing on half the course minus 3 H = The only hole greater than 230 yards I = Number of holes which are shorter than 106 yards J = Last digit only of the yardage of hole 7 or 11 K = birdie on hole 14 M = birdie on hole 5 N = total par for 18 holes plus 36 ABOUT HANSEN Hansen Park Golf Course is an 18-hole, Executive Course designed for the high-handicap golfer. Surrounded by the Menomonee River and Underwood Creek, this course features relatively short but wide open fairways, light roughs, and the creek cutting through several holes. All but four holes are over 100 yards and two holes are over 200 yards. This is an excellent course to practice chipping and putting. For "Mr. Hack" it doesn't get much better than a day of caching & golfing! The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Michael Sieger of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. If placing a cache on DNR-managed land, please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at http://www.wi-geocaching.com/hiding YOU CAN CHECK YOUR SOLUTION HERE http://geotjek.dk/geo_inputchkcoord.php?gid=6142728f9fb02cd-a4b6-4ac6-be23-763785ed222a
