Cardinal bird – (Cardinicus meanipuss) A member of the
Africanized meanie birds. It’s an red and angry little
critter who while pretty to gander can also have a “what you
lookin at” persona. They are strong robust seed eaters with
large bills (mostly gas and electric) The sexes usually have
distinctive appearances; the family is named for the red plumage
(colored cardinal like the color of a Catholic cardinal's
vestments) (good thing they don’t take after nuns or they
would be penguins).
