Geocache Description:

From the posted coordinates, project a waypoint a distance of ABC meters at a bearing of DEF degrees (True) to find the real location of the cache.

To figure out the value of each letter, count how many times that letter is the correct answer in the questions below. For example if you use A six times, B nine times, and C 4 times, then you are projecting a distance of 694 meters.

You will need to bring your own pencil.

No letter is used more than 9 times, and it is possible for any of the letters to be zero.

A note on the Terrain rating : Depending on the ground conditions this cache should be accessible by wheelchair. During the winter, Terrain would be a 1.5 but for most of the year, a T1 should be justified.

If you wish to check your answers, use the coordinate checker below. However, DO NOT PUT IN YOUR FINAL CO-ORDINATES - it will claim you are wrong..

Since projections require "fuzzy" solutions, I have decided to use a method that will allow me to set it up to require an EXACT solution of some sort. To check your solution, enter the coordinates as follows

N 50 26.ABC W 104 36.DEF

As in the example at the top of the cache listing, if you determine ABC to be 694, then put in N 50 26.694. If the Geochecker says you got the correct answer, then you know you got the quiz 100% correct and will have the correct numbers you need to project your final answer. You will be on your own to know if you projected the coordinates correctly.

If the Geochecker says you got the wrong answer, check to make sure you answered in the proper format - REMEMBER - DO NOT PLUG IN THE FINAL COORDINATES INTO THE GEO-CHECKER.
