This caches is located just off of Shady Lane, across from a parking area. This area close to public hunting grounds, so please be careful when things are in season. This area is VERY wet in the spring time, but with a little luck you can stay dry hunting it.
This is a new hide, similar to the former Did I Hear Shots? Which I adopted from Sagasu. Same location, same container ( which has evolved over time) Slightly Different Hide. All are welcome to find this one. Thanks to Sagasu for the location/hide and the maintenance he has done on a few other for me :)
During the spring and summer seasons, this area is populated with numerous sandhill cranes, which you may often sight with younger birds in the fields to the north. Pheasants are common in the area and may also be spotted, along with throngs of red-winged blackbirds due to return with their distinctive spring sounds at any time now in early March. As with all caches, CITO is greatly appreciated.
The WI DNR Geocache Placement Notification Form 2500-118 has been submitted to Steve Hoffman at the Waupaca office of the DNR.
