You're looking for a cammod plastic container.
You'll be hiking in sage, oak, and manzanita....beautiful vistas can be seen as you ascend the trail. These are the Sierra Pelona Mountains in the Angeles NF. There's free parking in the large pull-out at the trailhead off Spunky Canyon Road. The trail starts off on Spunky Edison Road(6NO9), which is a maintained fire road, this road joins up with the Pacific Crest trail. VanIchiro51, VerMagnus, and Aunt B recommend that you do the caches in order, much easier on the knees, you'll understand what we mean when you do the hike. Bring some water and a camera to snap some shots while hiking on the trail. The Pacific Crest Trail signs are clearly labeled on both sides of the road so you can hike towards the south or towards the north....the PCT stretches from the California/Mexico border to the Washington/Canada border. More trails, maps, links, and info can be found at: www.localhikes.com and www.LAMountains.com. Happy Caching
