I am dedicating this cache to my Grandad (Charlie) who sadly died in August 2010. Although he would not have understood geocaching he would have loved being out in the fresh air.
This cache is placed along a public footpath. The car park is situated at Gunby roundabout. This is a very busy road so please keep children & dogs under very close supervision. (There is no need to cross the road, but you do have to walk about 100yrds along the side of the road until you get to the start of the footpath. The start of the footpath is almost opposite from the pub). If you carry on along the footpath, you will come to another of our caches “Norm’s Cache”, doing both results in a pleasant 2-mile circular walk. There is field walking & stiles if you do both caches. There is no pen/pencil in this cache, please bring your own.
I would like to thank the National Trust who have given permission for this cache to be place on their land.
The cache is easily accessible from the footpath, no need to enter wooded area.
