Cannon Valley Geocaching

This geocache is part of a series placed within the Cannon River valley. Some of these caches were meant to be accessed by boat (canoe, kayak, innertube, etc), some by bicycle, and some by hiking. Look at the ratings and attributes to determine which equipment you should be using.

This cache is located on top of Cannon Falls Point Lookout.

This area is ripe for an earthcache or two but since I don't know the best resource to find this kind of geological information, you get the next best thing.. an old fashioned smiley.

This cache dedicated to my friend Knowschad. He wants a cache that will take him to cool places. This is it.

FOOT TRAFFIC ONLY. Motorized vehicles, in spite of any tracks you see, are not allowed here. There are two approaches. While the approach furthest to the south off of Spring Garden Road has all kinds of signs pointing to Point Lookout, the Goodhue County Property Locator shows this approach as crossing private property. I am not stating this is the best approach nor do I condone this route. I took this route before I looked up the property. To be safe, use the approach from the west off of Mill Street.
