The
Queen Bee's Coastal Surprise
Last year we attended
the Going Coastal events in Skidaway State Park. During the montly
GGA meeting held here, The Queen Bee won a prize - an extra large
ammo can!
We picked at her about
it for a while and even called it her "nightmare" because of having
to get it back home and our cars were already packed pretty well.
She took it all in stride, and we managed to get the container back
home without too much trouble.
She wasn't too keen on
placing a cache, so she has graciously passed the container to us
for placement. After looking at several places, we have finally
found a home!
The cache is located in
a wooded area, so be mindful of all things that live there. There
are lots of thorns and briers, so some bushwhacking may be required
to get to cache. During month of placement (May), the growth isn't
too bad, but during the summer months, it's probably going to be
rather harsh, hence the terrain rating.
Parking is available in
the park, but please do not park on the side of the road near the
cache, as this could cause some problems.
Since The Queen Bee was
gracious enough to pass this onto us for hiding, we're going to
grant her FTF rights! But for STF, The Queen Bee has left a
prize.
