Geocache Description:

Roadside cache so watch the little ones! Could be a park and grab. May become overgrowm, I will check later in the season.

I have had a cache in this area since 6/6/2003, cache number,GCG834. Except for a Earthcache at the prison, no one seems to want to place a cache here so there is now 6 caches in the Newgate Wildlife Management area.

You can park at the southern end of the trail at N41 57.068 W72 44.564. If you follow the trails, plan on about 2.5 miles round trip to do all 6 caches.

This trail system can be done from the prison parking area but it is posted that it is only open from 5/15 to 9/14. The day I placed the cache there were 3 cars parked at the prison parking lot trail head.
