ITA: La cache si trova in Località Bimex all'interno di una grotta un tempo usata per estrarre sassi bianchi di calcare.
ENG: The cache is located in the Bimex area inside a cave that was used to extract white limestone rocks.
ITA: Questa cache si trova nelle vicinanze della cache La Roggia dei Mulini; si può quindi utilizzare lo stesso waypoint per il parcheggio e partire dallo stesso sentiero. Partendo dalla Piazza di Isola Vicentina, attraversate il torrente Giara in direzione di Torreselle. Subito dopo il Santuario, si gira a sinistra seguendo l'indicazione "Cogolla". Si lasciano a sinistra prima la strada che porta al Santuario e, dopo 200 metri circa, anche la strada che si inerpica verso Torreselle. Si prende quindi la strada bianca verso destra dove vedrete anche un vecchio pozzo ancora in buono stato. Si prosegue per 200 metri lasciandosi sulla destra il sentiero che porta alla Roggia dei Mulini per proseguire dritto e trovarsi poco dopo l'antica Calcara sulla destra risalente al 1630.
La calcara è un muretto di forma circolare dove un tempo si mettevano sassi bianchi di calcare ricoperti di legna che veniva bruciata per 5 giorni e 5 notti, producendo così la calce spenta, ottimo legante usato prima del cemento. Una quindicina di metri dopo, sempre sulla destra, si trova la grotta dalla quale venivano estratti i sassi di calcare. La cache si trova al suo interno. Meglio se portate una torcia.
La cache è un piccolo contenitore ermetico che contiene logbook e piccoli oggetti.
ENG: This cache is located close to the other one "La Roggia dei Mulini", so you can use the same waypoint for parking, and start from the same trail. Starting from the Isola Vicentina's Square, cross the bridge over the Giara river towards Torreselle. Immediately after the Sanctuary, turn left and follow the indication "Cogolla". You keep on the left both the roads to the Sanctuary and, after 200 meters, the roads to Torreselle. Then you'll take the dirt road to the right where you'll also see an old well still in good condition. Continue for 200 meters, leaving on the right the path to Roggia dei Mulini and continue straight on; soon you'll find on the right the ancient Calcara, dating back to 1630.
The Calcara is a circular wall in which once they put white stones of limestone that was covered with wood and burned for 5 days and 5 nights, thereby producing the lime, excellent binder used before the cement. After fifteen meters, on the right, there is the cave from which they were extracted limestone rocks. The cache is inside. Better if you bring a flashlight.
The cache is a small airtight container that contains the logbook and small items.
