The waypoint takes you to the Wall of Remembrance for NSW Police Officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. It is a short walk from the waypoint to the cache location.
The phrase "Culpam Poena Premit Comes" is the motto of the New South Wales Police Force. Translated from Latin, it means "Punishment swiftly follows crime".
The Wall was unveiled on 5 December 1999 and commemorates the memory of over 200 police officers who have lost their lives in the course of their duties.
The wall is made of polished black granite which has a mirror like quality. It slowly rises from the west and curves to the east.
To find the cache you just need to find the names of two police officers who died serving their community.
Find Detective Constable 1/c John Dunn on the memorial. He was gunned down whilst attending a siege at Wollongong on Anzac Day. His date of death is 25 April ABCD. ABC are the numbers you need for the southling.
Find Senior Constable Robert Spears on the memorial. He was killed when attending an incident at Crescent Head with partner Senior Constable Peter Addison, who was also murdered that day. His date of death is 9 July EFGH. FGH are the numbers you need for the eastling.

Whilst walking to the cache, spare a moment and think about those officers who given up their lives to serve and protect us.
GZ is visible from the monument, so you don't need to leave the park. The cache is accessible from ground level, and could be done from a wheelchair (although not on a paved area). No climbing is involved. It may be difficult to retrieve during weekdays at lunchtime.
