I'm trying to make Gaylord's Aspen Park a PURE MICHIGAN family-friendly caching destination ! [:D]
Squeezing another one in here!
Aspen Park is Gaylord's version (much humbler!) of New York City's Central Park.
There are paved trails for walking and marked trails for mountain biking. The paved trails and a section of unpaved pathway that runs near Scott's Pond are groomed for cross-country skiing in the winter.
This cache is very close to a section of the mountain bike trail. The trail difficulty is rated higher than other near-by caches because the bike path twists and turns and there are exposed roots.
Bushwacking from the bike trail is not necessary.
You are looking for a small camo'ed screw top plastic jar.
