The beautiful old adobe building that sits just east of here was the inspiration for the road name as it was the original Vah Ki Inn.
Built in the late 1800s this building was used as retreat for priests traveling between Tucson and Phoenix. It also was available for other travelers. There was a swimming pool behind the building but this was filled in when the preschool was started a few years ago.
After three cache replacements we have changed this cache type. It is harder to find so we have changed the difficulty rating. Hopefully this one will stay for awhile.
The Vah Ki Inn is used every Sunday morning.
