Almost Route 66
Team 3 on Route 66 ---- Almost!
Team 3, consisting of firesafe, from Australia, rcbpasco, and tumbleweed2 from SE Washington State, teamed up to tackle the 800 caches of the Route 66 Series on April 6, 2011 with 506 finds, and finished it April 7th with 326 more.
It was suggested that we might leave a cache in the area to continue the series, and to say "Thanks" for all the hard work that went into placing and maintaining the caches. Since it was hard to tell just where the next one in the series should be, we decided to leave it "Almost" on Route 66.
it is a film can in the East Bound Rest Area on I-40.
