Bush Rail (Otaki) Traditional Cache

At Otaki Forks.

Park in main carpark and cross bridge, follow signs to Waitewaewae track.

Nice walk through good track to swing bridge. Then some fairly typical tramping track to cache, passing remains of the old bush railway.

A couple of good geocaches to find on the way here and past this cache is another at the old Log Hauler - well worth the extra walking.

Cache is 180ml container with usual contents - bring pencil / pen just in case one in cache is gone or not working.

With heavy tree cover you will want to use hints, they will make for an easy find.
