Geocache Description:

Small camo lock n lock

This cache is located near the former Riverview Raceways.
The track operated from 1967 thru 1994 as a 3/8 mile clay oval. During that time local favourites such as Don Kettering, Tom Nesbitt and Joel Cryderman provided the fans with exciting dirt track racing. The venue was a 'natural' with the track on the Kam River flood plain and spectators watching from the adjacent hillside, not a bad seat in the house.
Although several attempts were made, local stock car racing never regained it's popularity once Riverview closed.
