Geocache Description:

WELCOME to The Bremerton Gateway Series, Part 1! This cache is along your way on the route. Did you know that there used to be a town named Charleston? I'm just wondering where the beach is? Maybe there's a history lesson to be learned here. We hope you can enjoy this as a break from the fast pace of our daily lives. This cache is on a little sidetrip off the freeway but still part of the route.

Now, about the cache: It's an easy walk&grab along the way to the next cache. You should be able to spot the hiding place very easily. Please observe how the cache was placed and make sure to re-hide it well. There is parking virtually next to it, especially for those who have found the cache nearby. The other parking is also available for those who want to walk or ride a bike to it.

There are 2 World Logo marbles in it for Earth day, plus some other stuff and maybe a geocoin that needs to move on.

I am glad This section was included in the design to beautify the way into town. Maybe they were aiming to keep that title of 'The most liveable City' as if it was a dedication.
We decided to make this a mini challenge, and give a prize for who has the most FTF, STF of all the caches in the series. This means that we are only going to release a few at a time, so everyone has a chance.

PLEASE USE PARKING COORDS ON THIS PAGE (or near another cache in the series) FOR A LEGAL AND SAFE PLACE to begin your journey. You will find your way to a sidewalk to walk/ride down to it and maybe even find the other cache that is nearby. This one is wheelchair accessible for getting to the location but may be difficult to make the find. Please stay near sidewalk. Hopefully the coords will help you make the find quickly as well. It will be like a walk in the park.

When this route is complete, will make a nice summer or warm spring day activity for those who should not miss out enjoying the new facelift that the city has provided for us. Bear with us as we post the new ones. The caches are all on a public greenbelt , either close to or reachable from the sidewalk. Also, Most of the caches are going to be 'micros' so its hard to put a prize in each one. However, some may have a TB or COIN in them. There will be a FINAL for those who have completed the entire series and some of the caches will give a clue to help you find it, so be watching for them.
