A very easy walk or bike ride to this lovely picnic spot on the Rimutaka incline trail.
Little is known about the origin of the name Munitions Bend on the Rimutaka Incline. It is believed that an area near the original railway bridge was used for military purposes during the two World Wars.
This is a wonderful area for a picnic & to get a good view of the river.
The cache is a 1 litre green sistema. It should be easy to find, please hide carefully after logging your find.
