Geocache Description:

Small camoed tin with trade items and a $2 bill for first-to-find. FTF geocoin for the FTFer to place in their next cache. The usual warnings about thorns and desert creatures apply.

We couldn't find much information about The Hidden Treasure Mine. It was discovered in 1925. Gold, silver, lead, zinc and copper were mined. The remains of the headframe sit over the main shaft.

The cache is not near any shafts, but if you go exploring watch the little cachers, as there are unfenced holes.

High clearance vehicle needed to drive up the road to GZ, or park at the BCT trailhead near GC44T7A, BCT - Oasis, and take a short, easy walk (2/10 mile).

Congratulations to 2AZSAINTS for their first First to Find!
