Small box hidden near a bridge crossing a small stream.
This cache is hidden in celebration of my son (and geocaching partner's) seventh birthday. While enjoying these wooded paths close to our home in downtown Charlottesville, we found a bunch of tiny fish in a pool just under this bridge.
Park in the McIntyre Park lots near the baseball fields. Do not go through the high school property. Reaching the cache may require that your cross a small river. Cement stepping stones are provided, but if it's rained recently, you may need to hop from one rock to another, but it's totally doable.
Initial contents include a few toys, log book, pen, and a FTF geocoin. Area is dog friendly, parking is easy, and the trails are lovely.
