Geocache Description:

State Route 25 runs from east of Thomasville to the Georgia State line east of Centre. This series runs along the route between Greensboro and State Route 5 in Bibb County.

There is little traffic along this section of highway and quite a few places that have easy access on and off the road. It is perfect for a nice weekend drive.

The majority of the caches are placed in the Talladega National Forest and all caches are placed on public land.

For as long as we have lived in this area and passing by this location hundreds of times we had never noticed this old cemetery . We stopped and quickly noticed that most of the graves are only marked with sandstone markers. One marker that stood out was that of a Confederate Cavalry veteran. The cache is located approximately 35 feet northwest from his headstone. The cache is not located near any graves. The cache is a jar that can hold a few goodies.

Congratulations to OHail and xptwo for co-FTF honors!
